Sinn 856 S Pilot Watch Black Dial Black Hard Coated Steel 2025

The Sinn 856 S pilot's watch, the all-black version of one of Sinn's most capable instrument watches. Sinn has built professional pilot's and instrument watches in Frankfurt am Main since 1961, and the 856 is designed for everyday reliability under tough conditions. The S version takes the stealth route, with the case and bracelet finished in Sinn's black hard coating on a TEGIMENT technology base, a surface hardening process that makes the steel far more resistant to scratches than standard steel.

The matt black dial is pure cockpit instrument, with large luminous Arabic numerals, a bold triangle at 12 and a date window, all designed for instant legibility. Inside, the 40mm case offers magnetic field protection to 80,000 A/m and Sinn's Ar-Dehumidifying Technology to keep the movement dry and the crystal clear of fogging, with water resistance to 200 metres and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It wears on the matching black hard coated steel bracelet. This 2025 example presents in great condition and is covered by our 12-month in-house warranty.
